The LMC-J-0150-1 laser distance sensors are extremely compact rangefinder modules for general ranging and high speed applications. LDM301 Laser Distance Sensor - Serial / SSI / PROFIBUS

The laser distance-meter LDM301 is robustly engineered especially for industrial applications. It works at distances up to 3000 m. Up to 300m and more (depending on target reflectivity) no special reflector is needed. Measuring values are provided continuously via the integrated RS422/RS232 or analogue 4..20 mA interfaces.

As option, ProfiBus and SSI interface is available. In this way the device is providing position and velocity information during the production process.The LDM301 can be used in distance and speed measurement mode. All measuring parameters are adjustable. The high measuring speed allows the distance measurement of extremely fast moving objects.

LDM43 PROFIBUS Laser Distance Sensor

The LDM43 is an opto-electronic distance measuring module for industrial applications. The module relies on comparative phase measurement with amplitude modulation to deliver its output. The laser diode (cw operation) has a divergence of 0.6 mrad that allows measurement with pinpoint accuracy. The sensor is equipped with a ProfiBus DP Interface and can easily be integrated into any field bus driven process controller and works as a linear encoder.

The LDM43 can work as class1 or class 2 encoder and all versions are available via GSD-file. The additional SSI Interface provides another convenient option for controlled operation of the measuring module. LDM42 Laser Distance Sensor

The LMC-J-0040-2 is an opto-electronic distance measuring module for industrial applications. The module operates on basis of comparative phase measurement with amplitude modulation. The laser diode (cw operation) has a divergence of 0.6 mrad for measurement with pinpoint accuracy. The sensor is equipped with RS 232 or RS 422 serial interface as well as digital and analogue (4…20 mA) output. The maximum data output rate is 50Hz. The different configuration parameters can be set via serial interface using a regular PC. The easy to understand ASCII protocol can be used to set, for example, the measurement rate, data format (binary, hex- or decimal code), digital output settings, analogue output settings, etc. The laser works with cw laser diode which visible spot you can use to easily adjust the device.
